GENERAL TAB

 

Opens font selection window for font type / size.  This is the font for the N in the north arrow.

 

Opens color selection window for default font color of dimension text (if use layer color is unchecked)

 

Postion of the north arrow,  0, 0 being TOP, LEFT of page, from left margin / top margin.  Here can be seen, that Auto Position is checked, and the north arrow is located 7.7" from the left margin, and .5" down from the top margin.  To move, UNCHECK Auto Position, and input new x, y position.

 

Designates the relative size of all text (date / scale) to the N font size, see above.  Range 20% to 100%.

 

 

The installation date to show on the map.  If blank, TileLogic Office uses the current quarter and year.

 

 

 

This button resets all map settings back to original defaults, in most cases, information is blanked out, and generic setting used for numeric entrys.

 

 

Loads user's defaults.  It is recommended that a general template is created (See SAVE AS DEFAULT).  This will force a load of these settings if desired.  By default, all new files, will load with user defaults, when loaded.

 

 

This will load the current settings as the natural default for new files, or to be loaded with the LOAD DEFAULTS button.  Once headings and general setting have been established, use this button to save them as the defaults for future new files.

 

Exits without changes.

 

Apply changes, update preview, but do not exit.

 

Exits, and applies changes (if any) to the map preview.
