SLOPE ONLY  DISPLAY window

SLOPE ONLY DISPLAY window

Generic graph window, when running pure "slope only".

1

Target Line

1. Target Line     Zero deviation from target.  The target is based on the distance from start and the min slope value.
2

1 DB Deviation

2. 1 DB Deviation     The scale is graduated in multiples of the Deadband value.  Yellow denoting values less than or equal to 1 DB, red any value greater than 1 DB.
3

Minor graduations

3. Minor graduations
The light grey minor graduations are 1/5 the value of Deadband.  In this case, .005'.

4

Steer Bar Indicator

4. Steer Bar Indicator
Steer right indicator                          Steer Left indicator

Steer bar is inactive in this mode.  There is no profile to target.
5

Elevation Deviation Indicator

5. Elevation Deviation Indicator

Indicates a high condition, meaning the machine need to lower.  Range is 0 to three Deadbands (DB).  The DB is set by the user in the control parameters.

Indicates a low condition, meaning the machine need to raise.  Range is 0 to three Deadbands (DB).  The DB is set by the user in the control parameters.

The bar graph is color coded.

The elevation deviation from target is less than 1 DB.

The elevation deviation from target is greater than 1 DB, but less than 2 DB.

The elevation deviation from target is greater than 2 DB.

Warning Display

Not Shown, however, this is where alerts and warning are shown, when generated.
These can be one of the following:
.
POOR CONTROL!
- The current elevation deviation is greater than .1 feet and less than .2 feet.

CHECK HARDWARE!
- The current elevation deviation from target is greater than .2 feet.  This could indicate the hydraulics are not being controlled.

SURVEYING INSTALL PROFILE
- An install profile (IP) is in progress, no profile shown.
